I'll Give You a Winter Prediction:

This image, which I found via the NYPL Facebook Page (which you should totally be following) was the complete and total inspiration for this post.

It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey, and it's gonna last you for the rest of your life. Happy Groundhog day everyone! As I'm sitting here typing this with freezing hands and accusing my thermostat of being a liar, because there is no way that it is 69 degrees in my apartment right now, I can only hope old Punxsutawney was right this morning!  In case you haven't heard, because you forgot it was Groundhog Day, because you're not a children's librarian who reads picture books about groundhogs every year during the week leading up to Groundhog Day (this one is my favorite, it think) and instead you're just a normal adult, spring is coming early this year!

But for now, it's still cold out and in typical winter fashion, it's 4:00, about to get dark, and I haven't left the house yet.   I did manage to make a delicious breakfast, drink lots of delicious coffee, be productive with writing stuff and then order sushi for lunch though!  And tonight we're going over our friends Mandy and Sean's house to watch Groundhog Day the movie together, which has kind of become a yearly tradition.  Do you love that movie too?
