A good day

Today was one of those really good end of the summer days.  I woke up early and went to the beach with Erika and her sweet little boy Declan, who is afraid of the ocean but not afraid of the sand, and getting it all over himself and his surrounding areas.  We had such a good time, that I didn't take any pictures!  I know, bitter sweet.  But then I went into Manhattan, wearing a new dress that I got for free using Khols cash (received two compliments on it so far!)  And saw a dog hanging out of a second story window having a grand old time, and a lady with a big bouquet of balloons.  All on 6th avenue!  I couldn't wipe the smile off my face when I escaped into the subway narrowly missing a rainstorm, so I thought I'd share them here for you:

Aren't you grinning?

  1. Those pictures make me so happy. What a fun summer day for you. :)

  2. Such a great day! We went to the library and Uncle Louie G's after the beach. Declan walked on the curb and played Olympic Gymnastics Balance Beam on the way home.

    1. I think Barack Obama would approve.

  3. I love the balloons. It makes NYC seem almost...not dirty. ;)

PS: I am putting you on my blogroll right this minute!

  4. a little late on the comment, but this is what kate and I call OWML-ing. OWML- obsessed with my life. OWMLing- walking around being obsessed with your life and everything around you.
