This was Sunday

I know it seems like it's the kind of thing that should only happen in romantic comedies, but Alex and I spent our  Sunday afternoon on a date together in Central Park, including a row boat ride around the lake.  It was one of the first things we ever did in New York together, so it holds some special meaning for us seven (!) years later.

And surprisingly, I don't think the price has gone up in seven years.  An hour rental is $12!  That's cheaper than a movie date.  Here's pictures from our sweet and lovely afternoon.  I don't think I'll ever get over spring in New York.

What were you up to this weekend?

  6. Great photos...brings back memories of when we lived there. I remember telling my kids (once they were old enough to go alone), "just don't stand up in a boat."
